Student Loan Payment Pause

The NC Coalition for Responsible Lending is proud to partner with organizations across the nation to work toward stronger consumer protections. In the spirit of this, we have co-signed the following letter in support.

On December 8th, 2021, our partners at the Student Borrower Protection Center submitted a letter to President Biden, calling for an extension of the student loan payment pause. This letter urges the president to keep his promise to cancel student debt and fix a broken system that exacerbates the financial strain for all Americans, especially for Black borrowers. The NC Coalition for Responsible Lending along with several close partners signed on in support.
